Starters, hinge questions and exit tickets
Short, purposeful moments you can build in under a minute.
From New (top left):
- Starter: retrieval practice on last lesson. Pick questions from a question set, type your own, or draft them with AI from a topic.
- Hinge question: one question whose wrong answers are common misconceptions, so you know whether to move on or reteach. The AI can draft a few for you to choose from.
- Exit ticket: what pupils learned, what they still want to ask, how confident they feel, plus an optional check question and mini whiteboard task.
Each one runs in the normal live console, saves to the class record if you choose a class, and stays in Live lessons so you can run it again.
