Questions teachers ask

Is it free to start?
Yes, with no card. Free gives you every mode for up to three classes, with 35 pupils in a session, 25 saved lessons with slides, one AI question draft a day and 30 days of results. The Teacher plan removes the caps and keeps pupil records, heatmaps and history all year.
Do pupils need accounts or email addresses?
No. Pupils join with a class code and type their name. You match that name to your class list in your browser. The name they type is stored with their answers, so you can see who did the work. Polls do not show names on the board.
What counts as a saved lesson?
A lesson in your library with uploaded slides. Question sets, quick polls and lessons without slides do not count. Delete an old lesson to make room, or upgrade for unlimited.
Can I claim it back from school?
Yes. You pay by card and get a receipt to claim back. If your department would rather have one invoice, the Department licence does that.
What does a department licence add?
The Teacher plan for up to ten colleagues, on one invoice. Shared question banks and a department view are planned for September 2027.
What happens if I stop paying?
You move back to Free and keep every mode. Results older than 30 days are hidden, not deleted, and come back if you upgrade again. Lessons over the free limit stay in your library and you can still run them.
Is there a limit on the paid plans?
No caps on classes, lessons or results. AI has a fair-use limit of 100 requests a month, about five every school day. Nothing is deleted if you reach it. The fair use policy has the details.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time. A yearly plan runs to the end of the year you paid for, and a monthly plan to the end of that month.
