Terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Aspiring Education Ltd (“we”, “us”), which runs Bravito. By creating an account you agree to them. Please also read our privacy notice and fair use policy, which form part of these terms.

Bravito accounts are for teachers and other education professionals aged 18 or over. Pupils don’t create accounts and don’t agree to these terms; their teacher is responsible for how Bravito is used with them.

• One account is for one person. Keep your sign-in details safe and tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account.
• Give accurate details when you sign up and keep them up to date.
• Department and school plans are agreed separately with the school, by quote and invoice.

• You are the adult responsible for your class while they use Bravito, and you decide what goes on the board.
• Follow your school’s policies, including on data protection and safeguarding. If your school needs to approve new tools, get that approval first.
• Choose how pupil names are kept in Settings → Pupil names. Only store full names if your school is happy with that. Don’t add information about pupils that the lesson doesn’t need, and never add health, SEND or other special category details.
• See the safeguarding page for how lessons are supervised.

Don’t use Bravito to:

• upload anything unlawful, harmful, hateful, or that you don’t have the right to use;
• try to get into accounts, data or parts of Bravito that aren’t yours, or test or break its security without our written permission;
• overload Bravito, scrape it, or use automated tools against it;
• resell or share access to Bravito, or use it to build a competing product;
• put pupils’ personal information into AI requests.

AI drafts can be wrong. Check every draft before you use it with a class. Plan limits and AI allowances are on the fair use page.

You keep ownership of the lessons, slides, questions and other material you add. You give us permission to store, copy and display it only as needed to run Bravito for you (for example, showing your slides to your class). You confirm you have the right to use what you upload in your teaching.

We may remove content that breaks these terms, and will tell you if we do. Bravito itself, including its software, design and name, belongs to us.

• The Free plan costs nothing and has the limits shown on the pricing page.
• When you run your first live lesson you get the Teacher plan free for 30 term-time days (school holidays don’t count), once per person, with no card and nothing to cancel. When it ends you move back to Free automatically and nothing is deleted.
• The Teacher plan is paid in advance by card, yearly or monthly, and renews automatically; we email you before a yearly renewal. The sale is made by Stripe as merchant of record, so Stripe’s payment terms apply to the payment itself, the price you see includes any tax due where you live, and Stripe issues your receipt.
• You can cancel renewal at any time in Settings. You keep the plan until the end of the period you have paid for.
• If you change your mind within 14 days of first buying a plan, tell us and we will refund you in full.
• If your plan ends, nothing is deleted. You move back to Free: results older than 30 days are hidden until you upgrade again, and lessons over the Free limit stay in your library.
• We may change prices. Any change applies from your next renewal, and we will tell you at least 30 days before.

We work hard to keep Bravito available and reliable, but we can’t promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free, especially on school networks we don’t control. We may change or improve features; if we remove something important on a paid plan, we will tell you in advance and you may cancel for a refund of the unused part.

Bravito helps you run lessons and record answers. It doesn’t guarantee learning outcomes.

You can download your data or ask for your account to be deleted at any time in Settings → Your data. Deletion happens 14 days after you ask, so you can change your mind.

We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, or to protect pupils, other users or Bravito. Unless it would be unsafe or unlawful, we will tell you why and give you a chance to download your data.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn’t allow us to limit. If you are buying as a consumer, your legal rights are not affected.

Otherwise, we are not liable for losses that weren’t foreseeable, or for loss of profit, business or data you could have backed up. Our total liability to you in any year is limited to the greater of £100 and the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months.

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you by email or in Bravito at least 30 days before the change, unless it is needed sooner for legal or safety reasons. If you don’t agree, you can close your account.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes go to its courts. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland and are a consumer, you can also bring proceedings there.
