Data protection: pupils don’t have accounts or emails; they join with a class code. Names are first name and initial by default, and can be kept off Bravito’s servers entirely. Pupils never use AI and their answers are not sent to one. There are no adverts or tracking cookies, the data is stored in Europe, and Bravito agrees a data-processing agreement before a school licence is signed.

Bravito is a browser-based classroom tool for formative assessment. Every scored answer then lands on one record of what each pupil knows, by topic. It runs on iPads, Chromebooks, laptops and phones, with nothing to install.

Why it’s worth it

Data protection and safeguarding

  • No pupil accounts, emails or passwords. Pupils join with a class code and type a name.
  • Pupil names are first name and initial by default. In pupil-number mode, names never reach Bravito’s servers.
  • Pupils never chat to an AI, and their answers are not sent to one.
  • No adverts, no tracking cookies, no streaks or nudges on pupil screens.
  • Database, files and app servers in Europe. Teachers can download or delete all their data from Settings.
  • Run under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. A data-processing agreement is agreed before a school licence is signed.
