Online mini whiteboards, with every board on your screen.
Bravito’s mini whiteboards put the same background on every pupil’s device: a blank page, a grid, a graph, one of your slides or a table to complete. Pupils draw or type their answer and you watch every board fill in as they work, so you know who has it before anyone holds anything up.
The demo needs no account and saves nothing. Free for teachers, no card.
How it works in a lesson
- 1Choose a background: blank, grid, lined, one of your slides, an image, or a table with some cells already filled in so pupils only complete the rest.
- 2Pupils join at bravito.app/join with the class code and their name. No accounts, emails or passwords.
- 3They draw with the pen, which is selected first, or switch to text and type.
- 4Every board fills in live on your screen. “Collect all boards” grabs what everyone has so far, even if they haven’t pressed Send.
- 5Put up to three boards on the screen side by side, labelled by letter and never by name, and teach from them.
What a paper whiteboard can’t do
- You see every board at once, not only the ones you can read from the front of the room.
- Everyone works on the same background, so a graph to annotate or a diagram to label takes seconds to set up.
- Work goes on the board anonymously, so you can discuss a misconception without anyone being named.
- Nothing to hand out, wipe or replace, and no pens running dry halfway through.
- At the end of a live lesson, pupils can download a PDF recap.
On the devices you already have
Bravito runs in the web browser on iPads, Chromebooks, laptops and phones, with nothing to install. On a shared tablet, the next pupil taps “Not you?” and joins as themselves; join screens never fill in the last pupil’s name.
Part of the whole lesson
Mini whiteboards sit alongside hinge questions, polls, exit tickets and a quiz game in a live lesson that follows your slides. Scored questions from any of them build a record of what each pupil has shown they know, by topic, with a list of what to reteach.
Questions teachers ask
- Do pupils need an account?
- No. Pupils go to bravito.app/join, type the class code and their name, and they are in. By default Bravito keeps a first name and surname initial; you can switch to pupil numbers so pupil names never reach Bravito’s servers.
- Are online mini whiteboards free?
- Yes. Mini whiteboards are part of the Free plan, with every other mode, for up to three classes and 35 pupils in a session. No card is needed.
- Can I use my own slides as the background?
- Yes. Import your slides as a PDF (save PowerPoint or Google Slides as PDF first) and any slide can be the background pupils draw on.
- Are pupils’ names shown on the board?
- No. You can put up to three boards on the screen at once, and they are labelled by letter, never by name.
- Which devices does it work on?
- Any device with a modern web browser: iPads, Chromebooks, Windows and Mac laptops, and phones. There is no app to install.
