No pupil accounts. No passwords to forget.

In Bravito, pupils never sign up or log in. They go to bravito.app/join, type a six-character class code and their name, and they are in: only the teacher has an account.

The demo needs no account and saves nothing. Free for teachers, no card.

Why it matters in a real lesson

  • No lost five minutes at the start while pupils reset forgotten passwords.
  • Nothing for IT to set up, and no pupil email addresses to collect.
  • A new class can join in the first lesson you meet them.
  • Less pupil data held anywhere, which is one less thing for your data protection lead to check.

How pupils join

  1. 1Pupils open bravito.app/join and type the class code, or follow a join link you paste into Teams, Google Classroom or an email.
  2. 2They type what your class uses: a first name and surname initial (the default), a pupil number you give them, or a full name if your school is happy with that.
  3. 3The device is remembered, so next time they go straight in. The class code stays the same all year.
  4. 4Add your register once and Bravito matches confident names to it automatically. Anything it isn’t sure about waits for you under “Names to match”.

Everything still works without logins

Live lessons that follow your slides, mini whiteboards, polls, hinge questions, exit tickets and the Gravity quiz game all run from the class code. Homework and study sets are on the class page (bravito.app/c/ and the code), and every scored answer lands on the same pupil, under the same topic, on one class record.

Less pupil data to look after

  • No pupil emails or passwords are ever stored.
  • Names are first name and initial by default. In pupil-number mode, real names stay on the teacher’s computer, locked with a key file, so Bravito’s servers hold no pupil names at all.
  • Pupils never chat to an AI, and their names and answers are never sent to one.
  • The database and files are stored in Europe, and there are no adverts or tracking cookies.

Questions teachers ask

How do I know which pupil gave which answer?
Pupils type their name when they join, and you match it to your class list once. Confident matches happen automatically; the rest wait under “Names to match”. After that the device is remembered, so their answers land on their record every time.
What stops someone joining as another pupil?
You can stop new pupils joining a class from its Share button, and let new devices into a live lesson by hand. Each pupil’s record shows the devices they have joined from, so a wrong match can be undone in a click.
Can pupils do homework without an account?
Yes. Homework and study sets are on the class page at bravito.app/c/ followed by the class code. Pupils open it on any device and type their name.
Does it work with shared iPads or Chromebooks?
Yes. On a shared device the next pupil taps “Not you?” to start fresh as themselves, and join screens never fill in the last pupil’s name.
What pupil data does Bravito keep?
What you choose for names (an initial, a number or a full name) and their answers. In pupil-number mode, no pupil names are held on Bravito’s servers. The privacy notice sets out roles, suppliers and how long things are kept.
