A pupil can’t join
Code typos, closed classes, pupil numbers and shared tablets.
- "That code didn't work": check the 6 characters on the board. Codes don't use I, O, 0 or 1.
- "This class isn't taking new pupils": turn "Taking new pupils" back on from the class's Share button.
- "That number isn't on your class list": in pupil-number mode, the number must be on the class list. Check the Pupils tab, or add the pupil.
- Waiting to be let in: in a live lesson with "Let new devices in automatically" turned off, let them in from the console.
- Wrong name showing on a shared tablet: tap "Not you?" on the class page. In a private (incognito) window, close every private window to start completely fresh.
- The class is full: the Free plan allows 35 pupils in a session.
