Signing in with a school Google or Microsoft account
If the school blocks the sign-in, an administrator approves Bravito once for the whole school.
Teachers can sign in with Google or Microsoft, or with an email and password, at bravito.app/login. Pupils never sign in.
A personal Gmail or Microsoft account works straight away. A school account works too, unless the school has blocked new apps. Then an administrator approves Bravito once, and every teacher at that school can sign in. Bravito only asks for the teacher's name and email address, so it can create their account. It does not ask for mail, files, or other people's information.
For Google, a super administrator signs in at admin.google.com.
- Go to Security → Access and data control → API controls → Manage third-party app access.
- Choose Add app → OAuth App Name Or Client ID, and search for Bravito.
- Select the web app, apply it to the whole organisation, and set access to Trusted.
The teacher then returns to bravito.app/login and chooses Continue with Google again. Google's page says "Access blocked" when this approval is still needed. There is no button on that page for the administrator to sign in.
For Microsoft, a teacher chooses Continue with Microsoft. On the "Need admin approval" page, a Global Administrator or Cloud Application Administrator chooses "Have an admin account? Sign in with that account", signs in, and accepts. Bravito may be marked unverified until Microsoft finishes checking the publisher. The permission is still only sign-in and that person's name and email.
An administrator can also open this link while signed in to the school Microsoft account:
